Split gate, wouldn't mind a bit of moolah, maybe?
Or to protect his precious pitches!

KDL 0-2 Waterford United
Waterford United overcame a game, but outclassed, Kerry League XI last night at Mounthawk Park, Tralee. The First Division leaders took the lead on 12 minutes courtesy of David Grincell and extended their advantage in the 33rd through Willie John Kiely. Kerry enjoyed more of the possession in the second half, but the Déisemen played well within themselves and ran out comfortable winners.

The UCD website appears to be seeing into the future:
"Airtricity League apart, there's plenty of match action to keep the squad up to speed. Last night's EA Sports Cup tie with Athlone provided UCD with the chance to give fringe players a run and speed the return to match fitness of some senior players. Keeper Ger Barron got his first competitive match since pre-season and Paul Corry the chance to get another game under his belt after his recent return. Shane Fitzgerald was cleared to play and Stephen Roche looking to catch the eye after briefly dropping out of the squad because of illness. "
???
Yeah, had a bit of a chuckle at that.
After getting onto Ash and making sure I wasn't going completely mad first, of course.
Shame it didn't give the result; help me decide whether to go in or not.

The Sligo, Cork and Derry ties look tastey
is that letterkenny rovers first ever time in the league cup?
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
It is indeed Letterkenny's first time in the League Cup. They're not the first Ulster Senior League Club in the compeition though. Fanad United, Culdaff, Swilly Rovers and Kildrum Tigers have all played in the past. To the best of my knowledge, Culdaff, Swilly or Kildrum never won a game when they were in it.
Up the Harps!!
