Rovers at almost 4/1 must be worth a look also..no matter what side Rovers put out Dublin derbys are always tight...
If you backed the following in an accumulator with the odds given below, €1 would win you €36.32
Cork City v Dublin City Home 2/5
Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers Home 13/20
St. Patricks v Derry City Draw 9/4
Waterford v Drogheda Home 23/20
Longford Town v Bohemians Away 5/4
Not bad.

Derry's ods are great. Decent odds on Longford to win at home too...

Have Rovers done any pre-season stuff?

I'd say they'll be lucky to field a team of adults this season after losing half their first XI from last year.Originally posted by Peadar

Signed a couple recently to make them a bit stronger. If Noel Mooney hadn't have signed they would have been in huge trouble. As it is I reckon they'll struggle and I think its between them and Waterford for the drop

they should definitly think about bringing the bookies back into the ground.. did it once. anyone know y it didnt return![]()
rovers are as good if not better than they were last season IMO - time will prove this right - the consternation in their ranks was in the transfer of two players to Bohs, in the cold light of day and analysed by neutrals these two players were largely ineffective last season - they wont accept it but tis true
We'll be having a pint at the end of the season after a game where Set Piece secure they're coveted mid-table position and I'll remind you of this. You no doubt will have some excuse for why Rovers are in the play-offs.Originally posted by wws

well in a ten team league theres precious little in it between mid table security and a play off spot - all I'm saying is they wont be relegated - they still have a good premier div defence - nothing great but more than enuff to survive - I'm not sayin they'll win the league or anythin
I have to say I think Rovers will be safe enough this year with only one going down I think that is to their benefit this year, Buckley still has some good players. they have the option of loaness and I think that is where Buckley will gain a few players.Originally posted by wws

It's only just begun...............
If the last 21 years were class, here's looking forward to the next 21 years. It is our time
Yeah Rovers will be tight at thre back again but they almost lost their whole midfield & attack from last year. I know can be argued some weren't in team every week & yes 1 down gonna help them....
City v Home Farm - Home Win 2/5
Shel$ v Rovers - Home Win 4/6
Pats V Derry - Draw 9/4
Waterford v Drogs - Draw 9/4
Longford v Bohs - Draw 9/4
Extra draws plump up odds nicely.
Looking good for me so far...Originally posted by Peadar

Hope you have more than a yo yo on it Peader...
I got City at 7/2 to win the league with Paddy Power. Anyone get any better odds anywhere else?
I actually have 2 yo's on itOriginally Posted by RedX

Not much really when you think of it.
You might get better value by putting City to win with J O'Flynn to be top scorer on the same line.
If we do actually win the league it's not unreasonable to assume that we'll have the top scorer too.
