    Shelbourne

Hope we get a good crowd for the 2pm start today. Club web-site is reporting Wolfie out and Breener doubtful so we have a major problem in the middle of our defence. Would be happy with a point and head to Mervue next week for a possible three points.

Thanks, 5for. Draw a fair result in very well contested game on very lively pitch. Wexford started with Packie, Chris Kenny, Anto, Patsy, Dean, Lee, Shane Sinnott, Shane Dempsey, Jimmy K. and Gary and Danny up front. Nobody in the back four started in the same position as last week. First half was fairly even with Shels always dangerous from set-pieces and Packie made one very good tip-over from a point-blank header. Wexford had a few corners in a row and pressed hard without having any really clear-cut chances. Shels goal came when two Wexford defenders got in each other's way when clearing leaving Cassidy to stroke the ball home beyond Packie. Nil-one at half-time

Wexford played against the breeze in second-half and were always looking for the ball over the top to create chances and two good one-on-ones fell to Danny but Dean Delaney saved both. Shels had a few headers from set-pieces and one great chance when a return ball into the box fell to the Shels full-back at the far post but he was stretching and scooped it over from a few yards out. Equaliser came from a free-kick right on the 18 yard line taken by Shane Dempsey which Delaney saved from behind the line with the linesman giving it. Looked very close from the half-way.

Thought Chris Kenny and Shane Dempsey had super games. Don't think Sunday afternoon kick-off worked as there was less than 400 at it. New jersey is pink with one black vertical stripe with Wallace on the front stripe and Redmond solicitors on the reverse stripe. Muzzi came on as a sub and looks a great prospect.

Great video Jafrazer. Our goal looks a tad dubious from that angle!
