I think so, the closest I can find is Anthony Stokes, scored a hat trick for Falkirk aged 18 years and five months
Scored a hat-trick away to Brighton just over a week after turning 18 during his maiden season in the Championship with Stoke. [30-04-06]
Would that make him the youngest Irish player to score a hat-trick at senior level?
Saw a reel of his goals on youtube, seems he scores most of his goals from 0-2 years out, the rest are penalties.
At his best from 6 inches out.
I'm taking a glass half full approach. If Kyle Lafferty can score a hatful in qualifying our lads can too.
Despite your post perhaps being a little tongue-in-cheek, exactly this!
And exactly why we need to not be so shy to call up our Championship prospects and start blooding them as early as possible! Top performers in the Championship can do a fantastic job for us internationally (until we sort our domestic framework out).
missed a penalty and scored the rebound yesterday
Tackle on 0:38, not sure if there's contact or not. That's his tenth of the season, and 70th SPL goal
Jonathan Hayes with the assist on both of the other two Aberdeen goals
Hat trick tonight, Hayes involved all over the place too - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38973451
I'd say Hayes might finally attract a seven figure offer in the summer.
3 assists the other night.
Scored the only goal in Aberdeen's win against Ross County, his 17th of the season.
Scored against Hibs after 12 seconds in their 3-2 cup win today. Very nice finish actually.

Scored the opener as Aberdeen beat holders Hibernian 3-2 in the Scottish Cup semi final. Hibs came from two down to level but a late Jonathan Hayes effort deflected in to put the Dons into the final.
Threaded on your toes a little there Stu. Nice finish alright, it's rarely a good idea to try to go on a mazy dribble from the kick off like the Hibs number seven.
Watched the full game. Rooney is one of those strikers who doesn't contribute a lot else (i.e. link up etc.) other than a great eye for goal which is of course his primary job.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

Every time I see his photo I cant help wondering if him and Prince Harry were separated at birth. Others on my doppelganger list are Ian Harte / Andy Sugden from Emmerdale, and Stephen Ward / Finchy from The Office. As you can tell I don't get out much
I don't think you see many doppelgangers either.
Rooney surprisingly dropped for Scottish Cup Final. Hayes starts. Kicking off on Sky Sports 1 and BBC Scotland now.
