Dress this up anyway you want, but this is pathetic! And certaintly not an unattractive fixture.Would be interested to hear how many Lims fans traveled for this?

    About 30 alright.

First game all season that there wasn't a bus ran to, very little interest in the cup with our league form going well.

Why would Shamrock Rovers fans be in Ballybofey for Finn Harps v Sligo Rovers?

Less than a quarter of their league average. Did none of the usual freebies bother to pay in?

    That still holds true
I still hold that all you need to watch a football match in comfort is a seat and a roof. Decent toilets and food are a benefit. Everything else is just an excuse. The people who make the excuse that the paint is peeling, or something similar, would find a different gripe once that had been fixed.

Great crowd at Limerick v Fingal tonight for a great cup tie.

635 for a Monday night with zero advertising.

Wry smile at the cup holders earning twice as much off us as we did off them!!

635? I know it was a decent crowd for a monday night but wouldnt have thought it was that much as i was guessing about half that but it was hard to judge from the grassy knoll.

    EXACTLY 635

Why would we lie about the crowd being bigger than it was, we have to give away 60% of the gate

I know that, im not doubting the attendance nor suggesting that they lied.

Are you sure its 60% ? I thought it was around 30%. 60% seems a bit high.

I think (open to correction) it goes 40 to Limerick, 40 to Fingal, 20 to the FAI.

I think the split is 65-35 after expenses. Not sure what level the expenses usually are. I think it's different for the semis and final.

Nah, its the 40/40/20 split (which means after expenses an away club makes more off the gate)

Is the split not done after expenses have been deducted though ?

Biggest traveling support for a Galway United away game this season so far. About 250 'travelled' to Drom Soccer Park in a crowd of about 400 for the FAI Cup replay

No official attendance was announced on the PA.
