Guys do the teams this weekend get compensation from the fai for having to move the matches to the next day. Looks like most matches had reduced attendances this weekend because of the other match arranged by Delaney on Fri night

We're not arrogant, we're just better.
824 official attendance, including season ticket holders. There may have been more people in the ground, (not everyone enters through the main turnstile area, and there were juvenile teams who didn't have to pay in) but certainly not more than 900 in total.
Also, if you are sitting in the new stand, or standing in the old stand, you may think that there is a large crowd around you and therefore overestimate the total attendance. The best way to judge the crowd is from the city end of the ground.
Just from the tv, the home stand at Dalymount looked like it had about 1,800 in it. 1,800 + 1,100 = 2,900.

So if you think Bohs are big read this. http://www.astronomy.ie/perpespective.html
Moving to Saturday was a disaster alright. Definitely cost us around 600 people. That said, it was 600 less who saw that rubbish so it's not all bad....
I was speakin to someone in the club last nite about our attendance and we reckon that it was double the crowd of last week against Monaghan.. Estimate 280.. Limerick brought down two busloads ...
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Someone said on the eleven a side forum that the Bohs-Rovers game was a predicted record breaking LOI attendance. LOL.
That site is full of ****e
Poor crowd in Drogheda last night, no more than 1000 I'd say with about 400 Pats.
There was a bigger crowd for the Drogheda game in the Showgrounds (1420) than against Bray which was given as 1632.
About 230 or so at Youths-Mervue today.

Attendances for last weekend (i.e. the figures I've gone with) -
Premier Division
Bohemians v Shamrock Rovers 3000
Sporting Fingal v Galway United 611
UCD v Dundalk 464
Drogheda United v St. Patrick's Athletic 1000
Sligo Rovers v Bray Wanderers 1632
First Division
Cork City Foras Co-op v Athlone Town 1351
Salthill Devon v Shelbourne 137
Longford Town v Limerick 280
Derry City v Waterford United 2044
Finn Harps v Monaghan United 576
Wexford Youths v Mervue United 230
137 at Salthill is pathetic.Shelbourne probably brought half that crowd. Looking at these figures every week is depressing.
Wexford and Longford should hold their heads in shame.
