    edit :

Extratime.ie saying there are 200 City fans at the Athlone town stadium .

No, most of the fans go to the other stand since it was opened during last season.

Pyro displays by the various ultra groups around the league add to the atmosphere and profile of the league. Those who wish to see controlled displays band and support fines are anti football gaaliban in disguise.

impressive attendance there.. hope plenty of cork fans will come down to our home game and boost the numbers as the locals arent coming out in their droves..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

We'll be there. There's incredible goodwill at the moment. And seen as the crowds that are travelling actually own the club, it sort of makes us feel like we have to be there.

Crowd looking very scattered in Tallaght today by the looks of the tv. Decent crowd but by all accounts a sunday afternoon in an area like Tallaght should see a crowd of at least 4-5000.

Why should it? Sundays are awful for Dublin crowds. More of the same type of performance by Rovers and the crowds will continue to drop

Crowd looked crap on TV , cant understand why Rovers PR gurus didn`t fill the west stand first, presumably the new stand was full but whats the point in that if the TV cameras are on that side?

Well was the new stand full? There was a shot of O'Neill in the first half from behind and there appeared to be lots of gaps in the new stand as well. It will be interesting to find out the attendance.

do you want me to guess?
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

There was a shocking Rovers crowd there, Im jst home from the game. We had about 110-120 there, lads made plent yof noise from start to finish. The new stand was compact in the middle but lots of gaps still and each end was empty and the first stand wasnt full either.

Rovers mate of mine reckoned less than 3,000 (and was very disappointed with that)

in fairness though, they've come some way from the hundreads that watched them in periods in Richmond and Morton. Every other club would be delighted with that crowd
