Seen a good few Derry lads go and come back, Sean Friars is the most obvious...really talented when he wants to be....got into trouble at both Liverpool and Ipswich.Originally Posted by max power
show called beckham or bust about irish players going abroad trying to make their fortune...a lot of el players and managers will be talking, including our own darragh sheridan who is involved in getting players back n their feet when they return to ireland
Ignore Max Power, he is no more, the future is Ron Burgundy. I'd love to be Ron Burgundy but they won't let me........

Was this any good ??
Did they show the national league in a bad light again or did it even get a mention.
Was the english leage the be all and end all, even the third division ??
Haven't seen it but very sceptical but understandably so, you understand !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
Saw some of it & seemed to mainly slagging the "big" leagues with tales of guys doing more boot cleaning than football, senior pros riping them off & then been dumped as a "failure" when club didn't want them anymore.
Could be said young guys are really semi-pro at Celtic given all the chores they had to do.
