From tv pictures & assuming stand was more or less full would think 6000 was pretty much on the mark. Thats also allowing for the way people more behind the goal city playing into for each half - much less people in St Annes for 2nd half.

lads, who cares how many were there.all i know is that i was proud to be supporting city when i saw our crowds last nite on tv3,compared to the crowds at matches in d "capital" where the "real clubs" are.

the cross looked unreal on tv,keep it up city and we'll keep the crowds.

Turners Cross looked jointed. Although to be fair to Shels there looked to be a quite a good crowd there.
    Pats not so impressive.
    Waterford and Longford looked pathetic

    Intertoto

You can have normal standing at the first two rounds of the intertoto and even after that you can still ahve standing but its stricter rules.

As for the attendence, we got better than anyone else in the country for a game against the team with the smallest support in the country. Thats doing well in my book.
    Oh no not them again

Yeah sure Pats & Rovers used Richmond in recent years & didn't have to close the terraces.

Pats attendance prob loooked smaller than usual as would guess more people were using the Camac (€10) as opposed to the stand (€15) than last year.

The crowd at the cross just goes to show how much demand for professional football in the real capital (of irish football).
