On the subject of inane groups - when I signed up, not too long back, I soon got a pile of requests from people with the same name. Alright, I thought, a bit silly, but I'll go along with it.
Then the requests from the friends of these people (totally negating the point I'd have thought), then people with just the same surname, then the friends of those people. Couldn't move for lonely cows (oh no!), mafia hits, and the "mmm I love cake, me!" and "Woohoo! Go Jets!! I'm stoked!!!" brigades.
The day I went back on to delete them all I found a request from someone who was compiling a group of people who had an E and an O in their names.
Good holy bouncing Jesus, no wonder the world is f***ed.

At least around here you can Dislike something. I'd guess FB haven't implemented that because their servers would melt from the hatred and bile aimed of all the saddo Mafia Wars and Farmville morons.
