Ramblers in disarray ahead of Harps test
Cobh Ramblers manager Dave Hill has been forced to seek a special dispensation from the eircom League to sign a new goalkeeper outside the transfer window for the Cork side’s First Division opener against promotion favourites Finn Harps tonight (Saturday, 7.30pm).
Hill was left reeling by the decision of the club’s classy keeper David Hennessy to sign for Waterford United on deadline day, and he acted quickly to bring in local youngster Patrick O’Shea.
