Robbie feeling good and ready to rock 'n roll! Hopefully his positivity means a great season.

Snodgrass out for six months which could be good news for Brady and Ireland!

Brady has just put Hull 1up in the Europa league after 6 mins
Opened the scoring after six minutes tonight for Hull, tie is level on aggregate
Just got a second,a peno,2.1 up on the night but behind on away goals.
out of uefa. Both he and meyler brought in for this game.I hope this means they don't end up being squad players now with few matches. I don't know why Pl teams don't try and win this thing it's their only hope of ever getting champions league football.
I'm a bloke,I'm an ocker
And I really love your knockers,I'm a labourer by day,
I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
110 years trying to get into European football and then it's not taken seriously. In fairness both Brady and Meyler are close enough to the first team. They may not be automatic but they're not exactly fringe either.
The worst was when Gary Megson's Bolton played a weakened side against Bayern in a UEFA cup q/f (?) several years back to have players fresh for the EPL
Ya exactly stutts, I think it shows a certain disrespect and complacency as well. My stutts gut test tells me Bruce felt they could easily overcome the Belgians regardless of who played. More the fool he.

Mad stuff alright. I was reading a Hull message board after the game though and most of the fans didn't seem to care either. The general consensus was that they weren't going to win it anyway so what was the point, that the PL is their main focus. I find it baffling.
I suppose I can see the logic to a certain extend, the odds of them winning it are low
but the attitude still stinks. I don't think it's a good idea to get into the habit of
not giving 100% because it might begin to stick.
Brady's goals against Lokeren:
Nice volley from Meyler that came close in there too.

The first goal is a great example of Brady's attacking instinct. He began the move with some composed play before waltzing into the box unchecked to bundle the ball in. Another indication that he could be as effective playing in the 'Hoolahan role' for Ireland.
End Apartheid Now! One Team in Ireland!
Yet more evidence that we actually have some good footballers.
Gave the ball away too much for my liking.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Agree that he wasted possession occasionally and didn't forge a great partnership with Ward, but his delivery is quite good and that in itself is an asset not to be sniffed at.

I just noticed on that that the commentator never gives the scorer of the first goal, he mentions
Brady very early on but never says he was the scorer. I think he must have been confused because
Brady started the move, and then goes off screen, I think he felt it could not be Brady as he was too
far forwarded given where he started from.
He gives who got the early goal in the last leg!! (but not the one just scored!!) Pretty odd.
Aside form that Brady shows good skill at 0.21 when he nicks the ball.
On a side note, if anything were to happen (touch wood) to Robbie K, do we have a reliable penalty taker here?
