Dublin City game switched

According to a very reliable source within the club, the Longford Town v Dublin City game supposed to take place this Thursday has being switched to Saturday next in Tolka Park at 7.00 pm.

thanks be to God for that, dont need to take two personal days for that and Bohs game which is kicking off at 7.45pm on Monday.

why the time change? is it that CHF want to make the most of available Saturday nights when a premium crowd maybe available. If there's a fair reason then grand. But are we granting a favour for no good reason?

The DC game is at 7.45 on Sat..The reason for the change is due to the state of the pitch in Tolka, it was bad after Friday night's game and it needed at least a week without a football game...

isn't it, the flancare pitch was in a bad state last weekend so it chances of a game on sat weren't lookin good even then, tonight will be a scrapy affair me thinks
