Most ridiculous thing i have ever heard they will lose most of their fans if they move games to sunday, wasn't there a survey a few years ago and all the fans voted for friday night games

I rang the club to renew my season ticket yesterday and asked about Sundays and was told that she knew nothing about it. I asked her to complain to whoever made the decision. On the point of season tickets they are cheap enough, if people can afford them I think they should buy them. In the last 2 seasons I've only got to 8 or 9 games (total for 2 years) for various reasons but I will still always buy a season ticket. This is a big mistake by the club. Friday night is definitely the right night for everyone on here and lets face it we are the serious core fans. I'm assuming the logic is that we will be a first division side firstly and that they want to tap into away support from Derry and Shels. The problem is it's at the behest of our own fans. The sporting competition on TV alone is enough reason to reverse this decision. Everyone on here needs to e-mail the club to ask them to reverse it and maybe refer them to this site.

Everbody so far that has commented on this page has disagreed with the change of day for matches, is there any way we can try get the games back? Anyone start a pedition on facebook, bebo etc yet, or do we walk around the town of Bray with lots of paper and ask people if they are fans to ask for there signature? Maybe ask people at the pats friendly on monday?

    Anyone got any more suggestions?

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.

I think Hulseys suggestion about e-mailing the club would be a start. I've already done it expressing my opinions. I'd like to think that they would bend to majority opinion. I also refered them to this forum.

I don't even know if they'll read it but if I/we say nothing then there is no possibility of anything happening.

All we can do for now is wait till 12 noon today to hear about the take over then possibly close of business on monday to hear the final story, hopefully the right thing is done with regards to Cork city and our fixtures.

Was it not done to save money, floodlights are expensive to run! Sunday is more family friendly also.

Still no point in saving on floodlight costs if you're going to have nobody at the games.

But they would save money if nobody was there on a friday with the lights on compared to no one there and no lights on on a sunday

Is this not the point people are trying to make. Fridays or Sundays?. I think we need a poll. As has been said before though lets hope it's Friday in the premier.

The club has exhausted the family angle before and other than an afternoon with good weather, playing a bohs or rovers and no other sport on the box they won't come out anyway. The club should be trying to suit the fans who turn up year after year regardless of weather, opposition and league position. If Sunday games do go ahead it could be a very quiet ground this year
I'd love to invent a time machine then go back in time and win the lottery, buy new players and a stadium. Time machines are brilliant aren't they- Ian Holloway

So are Bray definitely in the first division now?

It's not very clear, the FAI could give the IFA a run for their money ffs.

We will definitely be in the first division. Or the premier division. Or neither. And that's as much as anyone in the world could tell you at the moment!
