that is shocking........... the league is a jokeshop, whats the point in licensing then.......

maybe if they deny a club its license, they the clubs will get their finger out of there hole and try improve grounds etc....

I think our licence is dependent on the plans we have to extend the roof over the full length of the stand (we only have 1500 seats at the moment, not 1500 covered seats)

I suppose it's hard, but there should be a distinction between realistic, moving plans and paper drawings.

FAI own our ground so unless they feel like improving it......

Is there really any way that the FAI could justify giving Cork a license? Didn't the MFA stop Coughlan from putting down Turners Cross, and he subsequently changed it to St. Colman's Park in Cobh? I saw an article that claimed they would get an extension of some sort which seems far more likely.
Jamie Duffy covers more ground than Roadrunner ever did

by our ground, i take it your on about cork??

the FAI can hardly deny a license because a ground that they own is not premier division standard......

with the adjournment today in the high court does that mean that the results of the licences are delayed by a week too??
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

Shouldn't be... Don't see why other clubs should have to wait because Cork are a joke...

No. The only team it could impact is Cork, everyone else should be told tonight. But then again who knows what's going on these days.

How come each year it feels like waiting for the Leaving Cert results all over again?

If cork get a licence it will be the biggest farce in LOI history. Ramblers went from Premier licence to A licence last year for not even half of what Cork City got up to!

Cork cant and wont get a licence, its ridiculous that every other club has to wait for this to be sorted out before getting their fixture list. Its particularly hard on Bray as we are massivley handicapped by being in limbo. If its a case that its a fudge then they should have fudge ages ago as this is making the league look even more ridiculous to the general public.

The latest rumour on ccfcforum is that the FAI are thinking about finally growing a pair and announcing the Licences shortly with no more waiting for No Bobs FC. However I'll believe it when I see it.

What's more they are getting a licence this season based on a planning application for a saparate development, which like the last season's, will never get built. I don't think they even submitted plans with the planning application that they are now using to get a Premier Licence. Cork are not the only offenders here.

Its not up to us - its up to the FAI, its their planning application. Granted permission here

So if you have a problem, please direct it to a Mr J Delaney, Abbotstown, not Drogheda United.

The away section in Oriel does not meet licensing criteria either.
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week
