    He was disqualified for signing for the wrong score on his scorecard, as a result of not recording a two-stroke penalty on himself for what he did in the video.

    Harsh.....maybe. He certainly should have known better than just pretending it didn't happen, or assuming that the ball hadn't moved at all. Especially as he could just have picked it up again and replaced more crefully without any penalty.

    That said, Graeme McDowell got it right when he said that rules like these have to be reviewed as they are clearly punishing players who are not seeking to gain iadvantage illegally.
