    Stephane Jauny

E-mailed a couple of people at Crusaders about the man himself and got the following responses:

John Smedley - Stephane played a couple of pre-season friendlies for us two seasons ago - but he was never a signed player of Crusaders.

Norman Coleman - Sorry but no information is available as he only joined Crusaders as a trialist and played two part games(friendlies) against Dundalk and Drogheda. Suggest you try Dundalk they might be able to help.

So make what you will of that. Apparently he's a centre-half who's had spells with Dundalk and Home Farm anyway.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Are you gonna chase up the other clubs?

No, I'm gonna let you do it! We'll know for ourselves soon enough anyway.

i was reading the ehco it says the following

    age 30
is going to still live in dublin and travel down whenever there is a match(dont know about that)
can play full back or centre half
he had no club last year
played with shels for a bit aswell
bottom line if he was any good he would not be without a club last year

Sounds like a stop-gap measure just in case of injries etc. In that context probably makes sense to sign him - we don't know why he didn't have a club last year so can't automatically assume he is crap.
