Wash your mouth out!!! I think hell would freeze over before any girls from either team would switch allegiance But back to serious business...the Lifford girls play for Limerick so my money is on their game being tight and not a total cake walk.

Cork v Wilton off? Do we know why and how it is possible?

    - JUST ASKIN!.....Lifford doesn't exist as a club anymore is what I have bin told....any1 know any more on this? If Lifford girls are playing with Limerick....I'll change my forecast and go Lmk....if not....Dundalk(Aisling Dyer will be hard to beat in the Dundalk goal.....midfield is okay...but they don't really have anything up front)

Cork v Wilton off? Do we know why and how it is possible?

    - because of U17's I think....but there was a Lnstr Cup Final today Tramore v Raheny which was due to go ahead even though their U17 players weren't back......as usual doesn't make sense really.......

WFAI Rules Alert(if reading boring, wordy, sometimes seemingly contradictory but highly important paragraphs is not your thing....turn away now...:

11(b) is the clincher here....."exceptional circumstances" can mean anything....especially when dealing with the WFAI.....players away...cat died.....it's too cloudy...grass is wrong shade of green...etc...

Clubs shall be drawn in lots:
11 (a)The lots shall be drawn and the Competition matches played as the Council may determine, and immediately after each drawing the competition secretary shall intimate to each of the Clubs drawn, the name and colours of the Club it is drawn against, and the date upon which the tie is to be played.
    (b) All games must be played at the appointed time and on the appointed date(s).
In exceptional circumstances, the Competitions' Committee reserves the right to alter any date or kick-off time of any match in any Competition covered by these Rules.

DWSL is not even running at the moment and they have no players registered with that league as it doesn't exist yet......seem ridiculous that with their recent record they were allowed to enter a team at all....

As far as I am aware they are still in existance but I am sure there is someone in a better position than me to comment and I think there are Lifford people on this forum to make their own statement.

Just to clarify the Lifford issue....Lifford DO still exist as a Club and are very much a team still together, they are not taking part in the Senior Cup this season and so a number of the girls are playing for the Limerick League Selection. Hopefully all this crap talk of Lifford not existing as a team anymore will be put to bed!!! Its getting old.....

Hi AWOL. Thanks for that clarification.

Really glad to hear that Lifford is still going strong. Since I have been involved at a high level Lifford have always been one of the top, and most feared, teams in the country. Keep it going. Good luck to all the girls playing with Limerick in the Senior Cup :-o

Cork-Wilton game going ahead friday evening in Cork institute of technology main pitch. The F.A.I have stated that game will not be postponed anymore. Think was postponed second time due to under 17's being stuck abroad and two of the Wilton girls were on this squad.

Salthill bet the Mayo League Team 6 - 1 a couple of weeks back, getting bet 6 - 1 by Salthill isn't that bad...

Jaysus, we're falling apart in the west!

All but two clubs have pulled away from the Galway FA and we are trying to set up our own league.

    Cool

Wilton knocked out. Lost 1.0. Sometimes its best to play even when under strength, delays dont really help and may hinder the cause.
