Cunningham to return to Man City for rehabilitation: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/Team-news...m-heading-home

Trying to find a positive in a bad situation, it would be great if Cunningham undertook a similar rehab program to Gareth Bale who came back bigger and better. Cunningham needs to bulk up to some degree and hopefully his recovery is successful.

He was expected to be back at the end of April. I was wondering if anyone has up to date info on him? Would be great if he was back for the US tour.
Was browsing the Man City website looking for info and came across this article from last month (23/03/2011) - Picture of Greg reading a fan's letter if you scroll down and an excerpt on the progress he is making.
Looks to have been making good progress back then so surely he's closing in on a return to training now.

I heard from a very source in galway that Greg would be fit for the US tour and wanted to be involved but was told in no uncertain terms by city to forget it.
Was also told by the same person that west ham have been sniffing around him
Its really not that complicated!!!
any update on how greg is recovering from the leg break?
Good news: back in full training next week. Hopes to be competing for matches within a month.

Great news, Greg seems like a kid with a great attitude.

Cunningham making his comeback today in a friendly game for the City development squad in a friendly against Bury, just cleared a shot off the line
<EDIT>
Short review of the game from Man City's site: http://www.mcfc.co.uk/News/EDS-news/...-win-over-Bury
Hopefully that's the first match on the road back to the senior squad, and hopefully the first team.
Here they come! It’s the charge of the “Thanks” Brigade!
Rumours of a loan move to Nottingham Forest

Good move if true.
Has moved to Forest on loan today.
Good move for him.
Good stuff. Hadn't a hope of seeing action at Man City.
Great news. Many of our young stars are finally getting game time this season. Brady at Hull, Duffy at Scunthorpe, added to Meyler's return and now Cunningham. Hopefully Cunningham will make the left back spot his own in the coming years. I haven't been too impressed with Ward so far.

This lad needs a season or two playing at a decent level before exposing him to important qualifying games. Hopefully he will make the grade as he has all the attributes.
Always look on the bright side of life
