Try turning off your firewall first anyway.
Its prob something really obvious but I used to be able to listen to some of my local stations online and now they wont connect for me. Its driving me mad. Anyone tell me how to fix it?

Didnt help. Cant get my Cool Edit Pro software to work properly either at the mo.![]()
The speakers pluged in and turned on?
When was the last time you were able to listen?
And has any other hardware or software been installed on the machine since?
Are you able to try on a different machine?
What format is it? Is it using real player or windows media player? (maybe try updating these)
Speakers in built and volume turned up.
Can still get Today FM online.
A few months ago was last when could tune in.
Stopped working before I added new itunes so its not that, cant think of anything else other than maybe Avast anti virus.
Office computer doesnt have speakers but it has been possible to get them on other computers so think it is defo just my laptop.
Not sure what format it is but have up to date real player and windows media.
have you definitely turned off your firewall or is there a list of sites or *<word> that the firewall will block?
Not connecting could also be to do with your bandwidth speed but very doubtful. Does it load real player or what? When you try to load it does it give you an error or just keep buffering?
Oh ya, turn off mute btw![]()

Just checked things out and yes the firewall is off and there is no list of blocked sites.
Bandwidth speed is grand.

Yup, Today FM works fine. Its just i105107 and northern sound that I cant get to listen to and they are my local stations that I kinda need to listen in to occasionally. Its really bugging me.
no, had windows media player as well as real player so didnt really think I needed another!
Will give it a shot.
Had a similar issue a while back. I tried this and it seems to work fine now.
Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.
