All other clubs did the course in September/October time in preparation for the system coming into use in January.
Its the only way you can transfer players from Northern Ireland or elsewhere outside the Republic now.
FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS), the FAI are holding a course on this on Monday 18th of Jan. Whats the deal? Is this part of the license requirement?
From www.goal.com - May 28th, 2008 - "Current laws require the associations of the buying and selling clubs to certify deals by fax, which leaves FIFA inundated with paperwork every trading season as they must manually register every transfer request.
Switching to an electronic system would drastically speed up the process and allow FIFA to monitor and process transactions with greater ease, hopefully leading to a crackdown on corruption via ‘bungs’."

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

This is being run for ourselves and New Derry
Good evening!
Cork didn't bother going to the courses last season. As a result, they didn't know the correct procedure last week when they were involved in a transfer deal.
Who Cares?!
Its such a good system. Easy to use when you have been shown it, then quick to sort things out. We processed Aaron McCarey's transfer on Friday and he has his ITC to play against Chelsea tonight in a reserve game.
