    Danny Murphy

Danny played very well at LB in the first half today. He was strong in the tackle and played some good forward balls.
Dolan, needlessly changing things as he often does, moved Murphy to LM for the second half and he was much quieter - as expected given he's a leftback. However, it was his dogged efforts that led to the penalty and he also scored a lovely solo goal just before being subbed.

Sign him up. Good competition for Woods at leftback.

Depuis is still with the squad but didn't get a runout today.

Dan Murray took a knock and came off early in the second half for treatment, hopefully he'll be OK for Friday.
Nwanko was limping on the sidelines.

Dolan played 4-3-3 to accomodate Fenn Johnny and Doyle up front and it didn't really work that well. George was RM and struggled to get into the game as much as he'd like, Kearney at LM wasn't wide enuff in the 3 man mid to do his stuff. Colin T played very well in the centre.

Centre backs looked very dodgy at times..

Shane somethingorother came on late on and looked handy on the ball - is this Barrett? [not Guthrie. This guy was small and darkhaired]

i reckon colin t is the man for the job, he was one of our better players at a lot of parts last season. I know nwankwo is ok but has he really done more than colin t do you think? I hope he can prove me wrong but i think it would be unfair as colin is fairly sturdy there last season

Was there a Shane Browne or something in the underage teams last season? This guy is only a child..hopefully a boy-wonder a la Wayne Rooney!
