Brian Buckley a far superior center back to Colm Enright in my opinion.

None - played in the Portmarnock team in 2000 which beat Fairview 2-1 the year Fairview were going for 4 in a row.Fairview should have won the game.He scored a great free kick that day - remember talking to him afterwards in the club and he said he couldnt get near Kevin Mc Carthy.

Hartnett before McCarthy??? Your either a Pike man or very young, or maybe even both, but Gaga was easily THE best midfielder in Limerick bar NONE, so to put Hartnett in their before him is crazy, especially considering also the fact that Gaga won every trophy on offer.

But Gaga's career was coming to an end pretty early on in the decade and he didn't really make that much impact on it, certainly nothing like the impact he made in the 90's. If you were to pick a best Junior side of the last 20 years then he would be one of the first names down together with the likes of Jimmy Sheehan, Joe Hannan, Aidan Ryan, Christy Reddan, Christy Coll and others. In fact you could put one hell of a team on paper from the junior scene in the late 80's and 90's...

Gaga won 3 FAIs at the start of the decade and was excellent for those 3 years.

How there is even an argument about whether or not Kevin McCarthy should be in this team is beyond belief in my opinion, he should be first name down on the team sheet and i assure you players he played with, played against and all managers would tell you the same. as leather said above in earlier post, a "genius" when it comes to junior soccer discussions.one of the best ever to play junior soccer in this country never mind the county!

Nobody disputing his greatness here. My point is that he made more of an impact in the 90's.

Should there not be a minimum of years a player has had to play this decade. Say 5 years.
