Sweet Moses Roy looks like he just climbed out of a cave in that pic. Where is his giant ham?

Ye Gods man. Are you talking about the kit we wore v Belgium in the play-off????

I own it. But i think its probably the worst kit we've EVER had! Distinctive and unique though, i suppose.

Ah come off it, its a classic I always thought it was a rubbish kit when we had it. But hindsight is a great thing, cause the 'off the peg' muck that Umbro have served up over the past 15 years have been far more offensive than that one. Llooking at the pics of the up and coming shirt (or Man City Keeper Jersey), it looks like Umbro are still employing trained monkeys to design this years get up!!

Umbro designs are indeed muck. And their marketing department is staffed with pretentious prats too. Check out the launch of the new England away shirt... In Paris... With Kasabian:-

Jesus, that kit was awful. Our worst ever. And what the hell were those imprints on the sleeves?

And here I was hoping they'd do the same thing with the Irish Jersey.......
But you may be still be wondering: why Kasabian? "[Umbro] said they wanted to take it away from the footballers for once and do something up to date," the Republic of Ireland-supporting Meighan said. "They wanted to combine with rock'n'roll."

Think it read FAI, backwards and forwards. It was a completely mental kit alright, but daftness on such a grand scale should always be appreciated.... well unless your umbro and looking to launch an England shirt in Paris. What were they thinking??

Do you not know Paris is the fashion capital of the world?
Where better to introduce such a fine a piece of attire?

Dunno. I thought it looked much better in those sportsfile photos. I felt something stirring in me looking at those pictures of it. Not exactly national fervour or pride, something deeper, or should I say lower?
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

I think it's rather nice. Nothing can top the early 80s O'Neills pin-stripe jersey though.
