    Some train travel help please

    Hello all

My girlfriend flies to Greece soon and will arrive late at night with a 4 hour train trip the next day to her final destination.

She flies into Salonika, with the final destination being Larissa.

As im not going to be with her id like to tie the journey up, public transport, times, etc etc.

Does anyone know of a website where this is possible?

Or has anyone been to these parts?

    Any help appreciated.

Try www.seat61.com as a starter point for train info (specifically, I'd say, the section on Greece)

Can't help any more than that though.

I've been to Salonica, it's a nice place, pretty big city - I think it's the second biggest in Greece. It used to be ethnically Yugoslavian/Bulgarian centuries ago.

I am pretty sure Larissa is on the main Athens/Salonica line and there should be a few high speed trains going between the two.
