    The A-Team

spoke about this a few weeks back in the pub with a few lads and we were all disappointed with the cast of the upcoming movie,so we picked our own

    Hannibal.........George Clooney
    Faceman.........Brad Pitt
    BA ................Ice Cube
    Murdock.........Johnny Knoxville

    now thats an A-Team

had a similar discussion a few weeks ago, I came up with
    George Clooney
    Colin Farrell
    Ving Rhames
    Jim Carrey

Incidentally, the trailer for the movie is here: http://www.traileraddict.com/trailer/the-a-team/trailer
    Looks daft, and rightly so

Pitt and Farrell wouldn't be smooth or pretty enough. Clooney would be good as Hannibal and it's a good call between Carrey and Knoxville, I'd give the edge to Carrey as he'd be nutty enough.

    Hannibal: Clooney (So very obviously)
Faceman: Ryan Reynolds (Very "pretty boy")
Murdoch: Jim Carrey (Great spot Tets!)
BA: Booker T (from the wrestling - he's the build, and the dreadlocks would be a nice update on the Mohawk)
That question was less stupid, though you asked it in a profoundly stupid way.

Help me, Arthur Murphy, you're my only hope!

Meh. Any gruff, buff black actor can handle the role of T.

Murdock is so conspicuously mad that a good technical actor will chew up the role. I'm actually eager to see how Copley handles it.

Anyone who has seen Taken knows Neeson is totally up to the action role.

The hard part with Face isn't the cocky 'pretty boy' thing (hell, half the male actors in Hollywood can handle it), it's the fact that it was played as very slightly lame, which is more of a scriptwriters' problem.

No, I'm not too worried that they haven't spent €50 million + to get Clooney, Pitt and Carey. I think the actors they have will do a decent job. The director's perfect too. No, if I'm worried about anything, it's how much influence Skip Woods (X Men Origins - Wolverine) had over the other script writers (who are pretty good).
