nope, never had any problems with chrome, could be the router?
Lads, whats up with my internet?
I use Google Crome and last night when I tried to go on the net I couldn't access any site at all. The error was: "Error 0 (net::OK): Unknown error." This lasted all evening. Restarting/switching off the computer did nothing. I then tried it this morning and it worked fine, as it has been all day. Then about an hour ago, it suddenly stops working again. And after switching the whole thing off and leaving it for an hour, it starts working again
The bottom left of the screen would say "Resolving proxy" and then "Resolving host" and not go past it.
I tried using IE and had the same problem.
Anyone encountered a similar problem?
So how you reading this?
Could be the router or could be the isp itself. Know some people on virgin had problems before christmas.
If you're using wifi, have you tried with a cable instead?
Where you restarting the router with the computer? Might want to try that.
Also if you right click on the connection you should be able to try 'repair' without restarting the computer.
If you can connect to the router (192.168.0.1 in address bar, usual for wired), and still having a problem then you might want to contact isp see if things are ok their end.
Semms to have fixed itself now anyway...
Thanks for the replies.
are you and dcfillywhite on the same ISP by any chance?!
