I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

Looking like another Irish manager for a Welsh club - BBM about to get the Cardiff job. Hopefully it goes better than his last managerial outing in League 1.

Did he not just give that Rochdale job up to take the man city job?

Only after he got them relegated from League 1.

He had some decent players relative to that level to pick from too - Gavin Bazunu, Eoghan O'Connell, Conor Shaughnessy, Ollie Rathbone - so they probably should have had enough to stay up.

Keith Andrews leads the running for the Brentford job...... might have to walk back some of my comments on the Kelleher thread...

I wonder would he bring Stephen Kenny in to the setup if he got the Brentford job? They seemed to work well together.

What if they win the league like Leicester ?

What if he actually does a good job ?

I wonder, was Keith Andrews a big influence in Brentford going in for Kelleher ?

I will be the first to stand corrected if that's happens

but as we are not on fantasy island, it is extraordinarily unlikely

Unlikely, but if he gets the job we should all be wishing him the very best, not least because Collins and Kelleher are playing for Brentford.

I can be pessimistic without wishing a fellow ill. If he gets it, good luck to him.
You can't spell failure without FAI

Absolutely, I don't think anyone is wishing ill on him by any means. The problem is that we all saw him standing on the sideline in the Ireland setup looking absolutely clueless during matches with the equally clueless Stephen Kenny alongside him. Kenny couldn't even get a look in at Lincoln after he got the boot from the Ireland job so it's understandable that most here will think Andrews is going to be in way over his head at Brentford.

I just assume you will get to bring in a few of your own people if you get the job and wondered would Kenny be one of those. It would surely be a good opportunity for Kenny if it was an option
