Bit of Sigur Rós in order tonight.

DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Great shout. Absolutely loved this album - one of those rare Irish albums where you could listen to every track.
Have you ever checked out any of Juniper's (Bellx1 plus Damien Rice) stuff? It wasn't great overall but The Weatherman was decent. Always found it strange that Rice went so folksy afterwards though.

I loved Juniper. They were kinda the first band that I "got into" as a proper teen then Damo ruined it. I always felt that they were gonna blow up. But I suppose I would settle for what we got.
See The Immediate and Conor O'Brien/Villagers for a similar scenario. I loved the Immediate. In Towers and Clouds is a cracker of an album.
DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
On a trawl through the early '80s again over the last while (Getting more frequent, this. Concerning) and rediscovered this one, yet another that had its turn as favourite song ever.
'Tis still a gorgeous thing though...

Impressive to get that on with only a week of the Station left. Soundclub is actually one of their better segments hat deserved to be expanded upon.

It's on their listenback service if you want to hear me "um" and "err" my way through a brief history of why I picked it: http://www.txfm.ie/listenback/1/1548...akfast_Part_3/
Starts just before the 27 minute mark
Even as a band who were almost like Marmite for me since day one. Their performance at EP was something that will go to the grave with me. Definitely nudging the top-5 all-time gigs.
This song live though, has stayed me the way it never did before [much like Face to Face by Daft Punk]. Perfect. Resonates like few others ever have. And making this beyond manky Thursday bearable in this traffic.
And for Spotify users...

DID YOU NOTICE A SIGN OUTSIDE MY HOUSE...?
Another song that the missus hates for the same reasons.
And another (amazing video too) (I've probably posted this one before)
So this is in my head for whatever reason... 20 years...

Angel on my shoulder says work Monday. Devil on my shoulder says Paul Simon concert.
Tom Dunne had a Kate Bush night tonight and played some stuff of the new album that's being released tomorrow. Remarkable 2 hours of radio, but for some reason something got this into my head, been a while:
Bjork- Play Dead

Just got the Still In A Dream set, like a dog with two!

Although it may not be played tomorrow evening as they are touring Fuzzy Logic... here's to the Super Furry Animals and my a mile my absolute favourite song of theirs and that's saying something given the quality of Radiator, Guerrilla and Phantom Power!
