I'm just surprised the shamrock fans haven't started a new thread already. As Shamrock fans I'm sure they knew Boh's budget was approved days ago before any Bohs fan found out. Should we expect another letter of complaint to the media & FAI that it's all a fudge/conspiracy/cop out by the FAI & Bohs are cheats.
It's all the wannabe accountants on this site I feel sorry for. Can't post any ridiculous/fantasy rumors about bohs points deductions/salary breaches/prize money included in budget now

It's amazing how quiet this thread has gone now all of a sudden. Maybe the Obsessed are to busy eating humble pie to further their responses?

Fenlon bolsters Bohs ranks after FAI cash go-ahead
BOHEMIANS have officially completed the signing of seven new players after their budget for the 2010 season was finally approved by the FAI.
The Gypsies had to produce extra paperwork after FAI authorities requested clarification with respect to some of the figures involved.
After receiving that documentation, the FAI have given the green light to the league champions. Manager Pat Fenlon has made considerable changes to the squad in the off season as the Gypsies target a third successive title.
That meant Bohs could register their new players in addition to ratifying new deals with existing members of the squad. Fenlon has added goalkeepers Barry Murphy and Chris O'Connor from Shamrock Rovers and Bray respectively, in addition to Derry trio Stephen Gray, Ruaidhri Higgins and Gareth McGlynn, St Pat's striker Mark Quigley and Sligo front man Raffaele Cretaro. The new arrivals have been training with Bohs since January 15, and they head off on a pre-season trip to Spain next week.
Fenlon has also been in discussions with ex-Galway winger Aaron Greene and remains in contact with the out-of-contract Joseph Ndo, who is considering options in Belgium. However, the Gypsies have no room in their budget for further additions, but are conscious that Greene -- a target for Peterborough amongst other UK clubs -- could have a sell-on value.

I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
Not having been involved in this thread, can i ask the Bohs supporters a question. Now you may have been asked it before but it came up in a discussion i had with some people at the weekend. Did some of the Bohs players get paid wages for working in the bar, and for doing ground work?
welcome back BYTCWD - looks like your still presenting your half arsed theories as fact.

Huh? Didn't the article implicitly state that the embargo had been lifted?
Hint: the answer is a resounding YES!
They've approved our budget for 2010. Theyve registered our new signings. You are claiming, bizarrely, that the two are mutually exclusive because why? Because the club hasnt released a press release, a press release that you (no doubt) would not give any credibility to (if one had been issued). You cant have it both ways.
Its actually quite remarkable that you base your opinion on just thinking that the article is incorrect. My reading is that the article is simply incorrect and the embargo is still in place.
Anyway, i would have thought the behaviour of your fans over the weekend would be of more immediate concern to you and your ilk rather than semantics over who has or hasnt released a press release.
