    Went the week before Xmas
Just myself and the missus, booked it all online, flights thru air france
stayed in one of the disney hotels , the Santa Fe,
it was fairly basic but got a good deal with it, all meals included in the price, both in the parks and in the hotel.

i'd never been on a rollercoaster or been to disney before and loved it.
Was there for 4 days, monday to thurs
3 days in the parks is enough
Took a day out from the parks and went to paris to do the touristy stuff as well...

Make sure to go to the stunt show
if its cold bring plenty of layers.... it never got above freezing when i was there....

Parc Astrix kicks Disney's butt. The website used to be in English but cant find the link now. Here it is in French though. http://www.parcasterix.fr/ Its not far from it either so if you are driving over or can hire a car or sort bus to it you should take a day at it. Brill fun.

What Magicme said, was in both when I was about 14 or so (I'm 19 now) and Parc Asterix was better then Eurodisney, although both were very good.

Bear in mind the weather is rarely better than Ireland and that its eye wateringly expensive for food, drink etc..

For any visit of more than 5 days I've always reckoned there wouldn't be much a cost difference between going to Disney Paris and the one in Florida if you get a good package.

you could do it on a day trip from Paris, on the RER - its a 45 min journey about 6EUR each way. You need to head for Marne le Vallee station - I did the reverse trip for the playoff match since there are often cheap Eurostars on the London - Eurodisney route (there is one direct train each day)

    From their site:
    [I]http://www.parcasterix.fr/en/node/27

Basically there are direct buses to Parc Asterix from the Louvre (near the pyramid thing) each day at 9:45, the bus back departs the Parc Asterix at 18:00.

Or you can get the RER B3 to Roissy Charles De Gaulle (Airport) and then get a shuttle bus to the parc (every 30 mins).

You could get the TGV from Eurodisney to the airport and then get the bus on to Parc Asterix

I've been to EuroDisney about 8/9 times now..love it, Never made the trip to Asterix.
What makes it so good?? Have they good rollercoasters??
As for EuroDisney..it all depends how long your going for, who's going, what your preferences are...ie Paris and Euro or just Euro.
I've done pretty much every combination (with kids, without, stayed in Paris and travelled out to Euro, stayed in Euro and travelled into Paris etc..etc..)
So let me know what you want to do, and I'll give you some advice.

Hey ParkLife .... there were a few months inbetween but can i pick your brain on this? Have you any advise for people staying near the Bastille and travelling out and looking to spend 2-3 days at the park.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
