Currently being given a torrid time by Darmian and Rashford down Hull's right hand side.
Out of position again, but Markus Henriksen has gone off to exacerbate their injury problems, so Hull would be remiss to sell him in this transfer window.

Some excellent recovery defending by Meyler to blunt a United counter attack.
Rooney still remonstrating with the referee over it ten minutes later.
Was never a penalty.
Outjumped by the much smaller Mkhitaryan in the build up to the goal that has put United in front.
Mkhitaryan got a run on him more than anything. I thought Meyler did exceptionally well under the circumstances. He even received some praise from the commentators on a couple of occasions for his positional sense when he cut out a cross and a pull back. Put in a nice cross as well in one of Hull's rare attacks of any menace.
Hull have signed another midfielder.
I would've thought they were well stocked there already.
Not good for Meyler considering he has been filling in (admirably) at RB.
They were talking about their lack of depth the other night and seem to have a mental amount of injuries. I'm not sure how well stocked they are for midfielders but maybe it's the knock on effect of the likes of Huddlestone filling in centre back and Meyler right back.
Lovely assist for Meyler to give Hull a 2-1 lead against Man Utd on the night, 2-3 on aggregate with a couple of minutes left. He's played really well, Rashford even ended up on the right having got little change out of him, bar skipping past him once in the first half when Meyler should have every booked for taking him out.
https://www.balls.ie/football/david-...utd-fan-358190I was talking on the bus all happy as Larry after getting a draw.
I heard loads of people shouting and they were Irish. So I went over signed some programmes shirts and took a few selfies.
Then a Man Utd fan said to me, 'Sign this Man Utd top, cause it's the closest you'll ever get to Manchester United.'
I had swapped shirts with Pogba, so I pulled his top out of my pocket and showed everyone and walked onto the bus!
Raising money for a good cause.

One of Hull's best players against Man Utd so naturally he is dropped for their next game.
How did that work out for them?
1-0 when he came on and they won 2-0.
So pretty well.
In fairness, I don't think there was too much wrong with bringing in an actual right back instead of a makeshift one, but Meyler had performed very well there. Hopefully he can get his place back in midfield though.
Unused sub today as Hull beaten 3-1 by Leicester.
I didn't think he acquitted himself THAT badly in the games he has played under Silva so far.
Maybe if his name was Meylovic or Van Meyler or Meylerini or Meylaud or Meylerinho or Meylez he might get more opportunities.
I like Van Meyler the best. Davi Van Meyler
Daviiiide Van Der Meyler .. its got 30 yard dipping volleys in off the crossbar written all over it.
I've a feeling Meyler will be an important player for us in the coming few months. If you think back to our big games in the last campaign, a lot of the memorable moments he was on the field. Even the Austria goal all started with his determination and a lovely heads-up pass to Hoolahan.
He's a brilliant squad player to have at the very least. You can totally rely on him to put out a fire whenever it's needed. Unfortunately that seems to be be his role at club level now as well as for us. He's probably our fourth choice central midfielder with two spots available and maybe third choice right back? He probably will see some game time though as O'Neill seems to trust him.
