Impressive Meyler set for long spell in the team in the absence of Diame & Huddlestone.

Dunno if it will work, never done this before.
[edit] seems to work OK
What was the keeper doing? He pushed the ball right in front of goal when it was easier to push it away.

Straight red for a high tackle against Swansea so missing the next three I suppose.
Disgraceful comments by Bruce defending that tackle.

Meyler was in the wars..
Was only a sub for Hull yesterday but came on in the second half and didn't do too badly. Had a couple of chances to shoot which he turned down. Lack of confidence? Apparently he was "knocking on Bruce's door" wondering why he wasn't in the side.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Hit the winner in the league cup game tonight against Swansea.

Just a tap in wasn't it? Or should I say a crafty toe pole?
Really classy goal tonight to round off the scoring in a 3-0 win over Ipswich. A sort of control and volley type effort from the edge of the box into the corner. Hull motoring along nicely.
Goal here-
Emphatically scored the winning penalty in Hull's penalty shoot-out victory against Leicester.

Usually not up early enough to catch Soccer AM ( I get to work at 12ish for a 9-5 job), but thought this was good but (obviously) Meyler was nervous

Meyler returned from injury and straight into the starting line-up for Hull's 1-0 win over Bolton at the weekend. I thought he was supposed to be out for much longer? Anyway, they won again last night with a late winner against Reading*. Meyler's injury coincided with Hull's worst run of the season: (PLD 4 W 0 D 1 L 3 F 3 A 9). Before and since their form has been pretty relentless.
*Reading's opener worth checking out.
Was that the one with two back heels? Very "total football".
That was it, unusual to see two in the one move. Super finish too.
