Somebody at Sky Sports probably calls him Daveed Maylay since he's a countryman of Reechar Sadlee-ay.
Not many can think like a langer.

Meyler to be eased back for Sunderland
Bruce told the Echo: “It was to give David a lift psychologically. He’s trained for a couple of weeks now but I was never realistically going to use him at Birmingham.
“I have to be a bit wary of that, with the huge injury he’s had and how he suffered a setback in January. But mentally it’ll give him something to think about.
“We’d love him fit and were banking on that when he came back in January, because we won two out of three with him in the team.
“He’s been a big miss. When we were up against it last year I brought him in and he did fantastically well for us.”
Meyler held a Q&A session on twitter earlier

from http://www.twitlonger.com/show/ae02biRT @williesmalls3: @DMeyler on a side issue any chance you get shane ferguson turn out for the ROI!! serious left back and needed.»»Greg Cunningham or Michael Liddle future Irish left backs pal!
RT @tetsujin1979: @DMeyler player you're most looking forward to playing with in the Irish setup?»» I know I've mentioned him a few times but @seamiecoleman23 cause 2 of us would beat Rodwell and Henderson in a 2v2
He's pretty active on twitter if you want to keep up with him: https://twitter.com/#!/dmeyler
Bruce seems to really rate him. Good to see.
The lad has had a tough time of it. Bruce has to take some blame for rushing the lad back. Playing so many games so soon after coming back was ridiculous. Bruce has a bad record with injuries.
Meyler was unlucky to get injured against United last year just after being called into the Irish squad. If he had gotten involved then, he'd have been able to establish himself. I hope he has a great season next season. He won't play any part in the qualifiers but hopefully in the spring, he'll get his chance.

A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.
I wouldn't totally rule him out of the qualifiers. We could easily see Trap give him a go against Armenia or Andorra, especially if we've gotten results against the big two.

http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/...ress_1_3568372DAVID Meyler will step up his fight for fitness next month after benefiting from specialist help in America.
The Sunderland midfielder spent several weeks in Vermont last month at a rehabilitation centre designed for athletes recovering from knee injuries.
Although Meyler is not yet in a position where he can participate in full training, the Irishman has made significant progress.
Manager Steve Bruce hopes that after another month of rehabilitation work, Meyler will be able to join his team-mates in training and begin the first steps towards a comeback.
Sunderland boss Bruce told the Echo: “We’re not looking for him to join in for another four or five weeks.
“Meyler went to America and did fantastically well, they’re pleased with his progress.
“He’s out on the training pitch and is doing very well. He’s running well and you’d never think he’s had such a serious knee injury.
“He’s certainly benefited from being in Vermont and let’s hope it does the trick."
Good to hear.
