5 starts and 8 sub appearances for Plymouth on his loan spell - no goals so far.

I think it was in one of the local papers that we were looking to sign him. Not sure if it's a loan or permanent contract.

Sheridan - You might be right. His Loan move was for 6 months, due to expire in Janaury I think, but he could have been sent back early - I havent seen anything reported though. He didnt feature at all in yesterdays squad.

EDIT: Just found this. He hasnt started since September, not been a great loan spell for him at all. Could well be loaned out again in January - http://www.herald.ie/sport/soccer/sh...n-1980990.html

Alan Judge, also on loan at Plymouth, scored 2 (one from the spot and one with his head) and also got an assist in their 4-1 defeat of Reading yesterday.

I havent seen that much of him other than a few U21 games where he has looked a very good player.

O'Dea - On Loan at Reading also hasnt featured much of late for them and I presume will be on his way back to Celtic (remember he signed a 3 yr deal in the summer). Will be interesting to see if Mowbray keeps him and gives him a try in the first 11, with Loovens, Caldwell and McManus all being varying degrees of $hite so far this season he surely has a chance to feature for Celtic.

Celtic are buying a Belarus 23 year old CB. This doesn't sound like good news for O'Dea.

True, he is over training at the moment and the fact that he is priced at around the £0.5m mark seems to suggest he is in our price range There is also talk of Kilgallon of Sheff Utd, whom I know nothing about but has been linked with us since the summer.

Remember though, Caldwells contract discussions stalled some time ago (he's looking for an uplift to circa £17k-£20k per week - which he's not going to get if you look at the money in the Scottish game at the moment) and he can talk to other clubs in January. McManus is clearly out of favour and plays when required by Mowbray out of necessity. It really wouldnt surprise me if either or both of these were out the door in January.

Having said all that, it is unlikely that Mowbray would play a relatively unknown 23 yr old Belarussian and a 21 yr old O'Dea who hasnt featured much for Reading during his loan spell in the same team from the off. Loovens has been very inconsistent but would seem to be favoured as one of the starting CB's.

It could possibly be another loan deal for O'Dea on the horizon, however the introduction of another CB will probably only happen with the exit of one of the existing ones, so hopefully he still has a chance to get in a make a starting berth his own.

Carel Tiofack a striker from Cork(ballincogagh sorry for the spelling) maybe Reb or yerman had heard of him. Plays at under 15 level.

Giovanni Boccarossa, real Irish name but is Irish born and looks to be a very accomplished player already. Rumour is italy were trying to get him to play for thier under age side under the granny rule

Ritchie Towell .a great engine and with good vision,

Kieran Sadlier joined West Ham a striker

Danny Purdy, A striker who has two good feet and great positional sense already playing for West Ham at under 18 level despite only being 16

Danny McGuiness, a tremendous passer of the ball.

Is he really though? The person on that forum says he bases his style on Rio Ferdinand's. It doesn't mean that he is actually like or that he has the potential to be as good as Rio Ferdinand.

I don't think it's fair to be comparing young players to such established professionals so early in their careers especially when little to nothing is known about them. These kinds of comparisons can unduly raise expectations.

What about Chris McCann at Burnley, is meant to be back in the next couple of weeks and is only 22. Hopefully will get a run of games in the Prem this season.
