cracking goal, he's captaining the side too.
wonder how long before some people start complaining he can't be that good if he's not in the Chelsea first team

He is 18 after all, if he was gonna be a top player he would have already made the breakthru like Rooney and Fabregas did
    Its really not that complicated!!!

Great goal. Hope Anceloti noticed it. With the Africa cup on, he might get a few games in the first team.

And surprisingly sophisticated tastes in cinema too. Doesn't actually prove that he is not eligible either.

I was in a taxi in Liverpool once and the driver was a 2nd Gen fella and he mentioned this guy as a Scouser qho played for us, he said that John Rooney will get the headlines now after mentioning his eligibility but 5 years down the line it'll be Tommy Amos playing for us and Rooney will be a footnote!

He was quite emphatic in what he was saying, and was convinced that this guy was the real deal and was fully committed to us and had turned down invites to English under age training things.....and then just as I was starting to get excited about this new prospect the guy said....but I would think that....I'm his uncle.....so it was a slightly biased opinion!

McAleny made his debut for Everton today, I don't know if he's eligible for Ireland though.
