    The Greatest Comeback Ever, maybe??

Watched Eurogoals as usual on Monday night and was slightly thrown by the decision to show Grasshoppers Zurich v FC Zurich in Grasshoppers ground (name, anyone?) in the Swiss Cup semi.
What unfolded was simply incredible. Grasshoppers comical defending had them 5-2 down with 9 mins remaining, and the FC fans predictably going wild. On 88 1/2 mins the score stood at 5-3 to FC. In the 90 seconds + 2 mins injury time, Grasshoppers managed to score twice to leave the score 5-5!! With the psychological edge, they won it 6-5 in extra time!! Best comeback I've EVER seen, no shadow of a doubt.

Not a bad comeback admittedly, but in soccer you don't have the option of scoring points.

Tranmere -v- Southampton a few years back in the FA cup when the former were three down with twenty minutes to go.

City -v- Rovers in the cup coming back from two down to win 3-2 was the best i've seen live, one of the best city nights i've had.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    I...

I know they didnt win the match but werent Alaves a lot of goals down to Liverpool in the UEFA cup final, before getting it back level. Of course they lost it in the end

    That was some match.

I can remember City being 2 down versus sligo rovers before winning 3-2.

I saw that swiss game on eurogoals as well. the defending was a bit comical though !

Don't forget the 56 Cup Final.
EL grounds are like good episodes of The Simpsons, no matter how many times you see them they're still funny

    Depor Vs AC Meeeeeeeelan.

What a match. Dont think i have ever seen a team attack with the composure of Depor. 4-0 on the night. 5-4 on agg.

The style of football played by Depor was brilliant. fast one touch and accurate. Would love to see them win it.
