BHS, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Look, like most managers, there was good and bad to him but the United fans suggesting he was the greatest thing to happen to the club since Johnny Glynn, Lansdowne Road and May 1991 is talking thorugh their backsides.
He was at the club 1 season as a manager, and finished with 12 wins in 36 games, finished in the relegaiton spots and had the worst defence in the league. Lest we forget, we were also knocked out of both cup competitions by First Division sides: Longford (FAI) and UCD (League Cup). Both those games were at home.
For people saying it is probably the board stirring and bad form on the players having a go now, the players were hardly going to risk their chances of playing by complaining publicly when he was there.

BONUSES due to Drogheda United players for winning their battle against relegation have not yet been paid, the Drogheda Independent has learned.
According to the club, a cash bonus was made to the squad about two-thirds of the way into the season, but the players initially turned it down – feeling that they didn't need any incentive in their battle to avoid the drop.
However, the team later changed their minds, and the club are currently not in a position to pay the monies owed.
General manager Sean Connolly said yesterday ( Tuesday): 'There was talk of a bonus and the players decided they were not going to accept. They wanted to play to win rather than play for a bonus.
'Then there was a change of mind, and I told the players at the end of the season that the money would not be there.
'Money is a problem at the present time, but I don't intend the situation to drag on and it will only take a few days to get it sorted.'
A senior player, who did not want to be named, told the Drogheda Independent that the bonuses were due, but he was confident the issue was in hand.
However, the situation is unlikely to help manager Alan Mathews as he seeks to tie down some of last season's squad on new contracts. Mathews said that there had been no progress in that regard.
Neale Fenn on retiring: 'I think once you finish you might as well finish rather than making all sorts of comebacks.'
No wonder Galway are in such a bad financial state, what with senior members of the coaching staff mislaying important pieces of the club's capital infrastructure left, right, and centre!
(I've been trying to resist making that pun for days, but I finally crumbled!)
