I'd love to invent a time machine then go back in time and win the lottery, buy new players and a stadium. Time machines are brilliant aren't they- Ian Holloway
Even though Bray might have a substantial urban population how much of that is from the fact that it is a satellite town for Dublin?
One of the downsides of being so close to Dublin.
As with us we dont have that problem, we are the largest urban area in the northwest without any competition really.
Also it must not be ignored that in Sligo Town all that is really going for it on a National Scale is our football team, the GAA team is only really followed by people from the county and tbh there is very little else people from the town have to be proud of bar our football team that represnts us on a national scale.
TBH I havent the foogiest notion of how to replicate the local following for say like a club like Bray when you have Dublin on your door step.
I think the root of it lies not in the club but on the urban consciousness of Bray itself and if there is one so to speak of it is best for the club to somehow attach itself to it.

19 y/o local Adam O'Connor has signed for Bray Wanderers ahead of the 2010 season. O'Connor joins from Wolfe Tone Celtic and was a member of the Wicklow League Oscar Traynor side.
In other team news Karl McCabe has re-signed and former Wanderers player Lloyd Massey returns to the Carlisle after a spell with Shamrock Rovers.
also:
Bray Wanderers have added to the squad for the 2010 season with the signing of James Kavanagh from Belvedere FC. The 17 year old has represented Ireland at U15 level and is an exciting addition to the Seagull's team.

Gary Cronin has resigned for us from ye... He made his comeback in the tullamore town friendly..
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
I completely agree with Roo, its time the people of Bray decied if they want a football club at all. There is a catchment area of about 100,000 and the club dont even get 1% of that. This says more about the people of Bray than it does about those who run the club. The club just cant afford Premier Division wages.
Does anyone have an up to date squad list yet for this season?
Tresson and Daire Doyle confirmed on the Bray website as signed for this season.
Bray Wanderers: So good they were relegated twice (and still stayed up).
I wonder now will we see more players sign as now bray are in the Prem we need 3 teams, senior, B and u20s, still plenty of players out there to sign and will do a could job, but money wise can we afford it? Is the budget big enough? Will they increase it now were staying up? Lot of work to be done behind the scenes in the next 2 weeks now and best of luck to the club in doing it.

Sharks are as tough as those football fans who take their shirts off during games in England in January, only more intelligent.
