    Institute FC

Thinking about taking a game in, possibly next weekend(Vs. Glentoran). Is their much parking around their ground? And is it safe for an Irish reg car to park there?.

I never had a problem with a southern reg car there.

A fair bit of parking in the area, not really a problem for 'Stute tbh.

Whatever you do don't park on the main road. Police very fond of handing out tickets.

What's their attendances like? Would Glentoran bring many?

Going to this myself. There's a street just after their ground on the right hand side(if coming from Derry direction), I parked in there before

One of my buddies may get a game after scoring two against Crusaders, keep an eye out for him. Paul Lowry - he's the tiny, but ridiculously fast striker/winger.

With regard to the safety of having an Irish reg car... sure do you not know that the players call the team 'Stute Celtic?

'Stute would normally get in the region of 350/400 at home but there was nearly double that at their home game against Coleraine a few weeks ago, possible the Glens match will attract a few also. .
Hard to know about the Glentoran fans though., they would be drawing the biggest attendances this season so there should be a good few travelling.

You going to watch Finn Harps reserves in action? Cullen, Holmes, Scoltock, Friars, Friel, Parky, Divin, Bonner and Ramsey.

Somehow I think Darren Meenan is more of Legend at Sligo than the above, most certainly Homer and Parky

Paul Brown was easily the worst of the lot...played loads of games and scored 1 goal Vs. Cobh(iirc) in the FD. He was hailed as the goalscorer we needed by the great Sean Connor at the time. We even paid a fee for him.

At least Parkhouse was injured for most of his time here so he had an excuse and Holmes tried his best, he even got us a couple of goals.

Decent game, great travelling support from Glens 7 coach loads plus a few mini buses too.
Gavin Cullen was superb in nets for 'Stute.

Did Stute do well despite being beaten 3-0? How did Lowry do when he came on?

, was a shocking game. Livened up in the 2nd half but very poor standard overall. Cullen was very good alright, made some crucial saves.

Stephen Kenny was in the stand watching it...rumour has it he's planning a record breaking bid for Shaun Holmes.

Haha I actually heard recently that he was looking into signing Ogilby or Scoltock.

When deprived of Live football it was most certainly a decent game. By IL standards it was a lively game.

Holmes looked about 2 stone overweight.

I really hope Kenny signs Scoltock and plays him every week, he's exactly what we would love to see Derry signing
Scolty's back pass to let Waterworth in is typical of the kind of errors he was prone to at Harps.

Lowry came on as a sub for Parky and worked a decent opening but that little "gem" Austy Friel got in his way and missed a decent chance as a result. I actually remember playing against Paul when he was at Letterkenny Rovers, he's a lively player and gives a completely different dimension up front than Ramsey and Parky will give.

The two starting up front for Institute(Parkhouse and ?) have to be the slowest strikeforce I've ever seen.

I haven't seen any games recently, but I heard that a lot of the players aren't pulling their own weight. Do the players look that out of shape yeah? Lazy feckers! Gregg would need to sort that out.

I think he has scored more goals than the both of them and he's played a lot less! He's lightning fast and that's a nightmare to defend against. Hopefully he can become a regular for them.

Here's Lowry's two goals against Crusaders. The second on in particular is a peach.
