you are dead right on the first part dodge.. 2000-01 was the last time it was played.. I never knew the reason why the Leinster Senior cup stopped but its a pity it was stopped..
What about the Connacht and Ulster based sides have they their own cup competition at all and did they ever have one?

As far as i can remember, Bohs played Bray in an FAI Cup semi on a Sunday afternoon with player (s) that Bray said were suspended. Bohs had not played those player (s) in a midweek game (possibly a LSC game) thus serving the suspension and making them eligible to play against Bray... I think....

oh sorry, maybe it was a Bray player and not Bohs?! Certainly the FAI semi was on the Sunday afternoon of April 2nd 2000. I have the programme here as I type. It was live on television and I remember watching the video of the game later and the controversy was mentioned.
