    Question Ireland Offline Blackout

    Me wish to be educated so question for 'Da Boss'

    Whats the deal? How does I not wasting my employers internet connection register my protest? Can telcos tell if communications usage is down?

    Just curious...... If you can convince me theres no stopping ye

    You support us, we get unmetered and broadband services rolled out faster. Simple as that.

    Of course they can! And of course some of them (Eircom) are going to play that down, and some (Esat) are going to play it up. We'll never really know the exact effect we'll have on the day, but we do have contacts within the OLO's (Other Licenced Operators), so we'll have a fair idea.

    There's not a lot of convincing to be done really Pete. If you want cheaper comms, and broadband, we're your best chance of getting that.
