    2 hour special now on ESPN Classic. Platini has just taken a blatant dive against Italy .

    Bit of a naff overdub but it's great stuff.

    There is a lot of good stuff on ESPN Classic, especially for the "older" generation. The big difference is the state of the pitches in the English leagues. How they played football on some of those mud patches is beyond me. No excuse either as I don't suspect the technology of looking after a pitch has advanced that much. No wonder the Don Revie Leeds' team did so well.
    Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

    I caught the 2002 special a few weeks back and they hardly mentioned us! We got a bit of footage from the Spanish game and that was it. Keane's goal against Germany? Nope.

    I think all WC reviews will be repeated in the run up to finals next year over in the UK on a terrestrial channel (pretty sure that was what I read).
