No doubt about it their the two best teams, surely you'll agree Andrew they should have the best officials aswell but it always doesnt work out that way better off saving five euros than embarassing myself for 42 euro :-)

Lads, yer opinions on refs should be kept to yourselves until you try it yourself, its a no win situation to be in.

The refs get so much abuse and back chat from players (myself included), supporters, club members, management and you have to give credit to them in how they handle it, coz I for one wouldn't do it, especially for 40odd euro.

They'll all make mistakes, and when they do, they get slated and sometimes abused and even threatened for it, but when a player makes a mistake most often than not his teammates will try and rally him to get on with the game...................................the man in the middle has a lonely job and I think they should be appreciated more than they are (after all, without them, none of us would be playing any football at any level).

And before any of you say it, no I am not retiring to become a ref nor am I going soft in my old age.......................all the above are FACT's as fat Rafa would say.

Ya, it would make you laugh really, we do Pike a favour by agreeing to play them up in Hogan Park last Thursday and giving up home advantage, the lighting was poor, thus the game being called off (all of which was none of our fault), and then we lose home advantage.

Ah well, if we're gonna beat them, what better place to do it than on their own patch in front of their own supportters...................big IF though.

Tell Connie, if he really wants to return the favour we train at 8.30 in LIT on Thursday and can speak to Windy then, incase he doesnt get through on the mobile (not that I believe he's been trying)

Ask wendy hogan how many missed calls he got monday and messages, that match will be on in lee estate fairplay to star rovers for trying to help a limerick team to progress in the fai.
