i must say what i seen and heard yesterday summed pike rovers up yesterday the arrogance is actually unreal they had treble winner banners up in the club and music booked at two o clock. any of the balla lads would tell ye what players were saying on the pitch. pike take leaf out of fairviews book a record 8th FAI they did it with class and dignity.

To interject... It's funny that the match was on at 11 O'Clock, bit of a slow reaction from Pike if they put up Banner's at 2, under that assumption, they Played the match, lost, hung up "Treble Winner's" banner and had a Party for losing. Have I forgotten anything?

Was it unusual to have the Lawson Cup Final on the same day Fairview Rangers were playing in the F.A.I. Junior Cup Final? Should it have been a blank day to allow as many Limerick junior soccer followers support one of their own? Were Pike having their party at the same time as final at Cork? Also, was there any LDMC committee members at the F.A.I. Junior Cup Final? Rumour at Turners Cross they boycotted the game because Fairview opted for Turners Cross rather than Jackman Park.

I can't be bothered any more trying to change an opinion, clearly it was Pike being the usual Pike and assuming they had the Lawson in the bag (Please take note of the Large doses of Sarcasm dropped into that sentence...)
Getting back on topic... Pike deserved to lose, didn't have the hunger or the heart, A nice trophy for Balla to win after a quite season for them.
