They had a pretty serious falling-out as I recall that may have involved a practical joke - won't repeat the rumour hereQuote Originally Posted by Paddyfield View Post

Timmy Purcell is a forward. Released in November; was present at the end of season p!ss up anyway. Thought he did alright last year - granted in the First Division - with three goals in a three match spell followed by not getting much playing time. Was our top scorer in 2008, also with three. Waterford might have a use for him; if Pat's sign him, it'd further strengthen my opinion that they're going to struggle badly this season.
What's wrong with him thinking your squad is ****? Timmy's not bad, but I wouldn't expect him to be topping the scoring charts any time soon.
You can't spell failure without FAI

Galway United would like to confirm that Derek O'Brien, Alan Murphy and Barry Ryan have signed new contracts for the coming season. Midfielders Ciaran Foley and Jonathan Keane have rejoined the club.
More squad updates will be given over the next week.
phew, brilliant. Feel a bit more confident about the season now.
Kelly was right up there as one of dundalks best last year...
Couple of young Shamrock Rovers players heading our way on loan by all accounts. They've a couple of prospects they want to give football to and Cousins has the connections there. Striker and a full back apparently.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
Tom King from Longford Town is supposed to have signed for GUFC today thats 6 and counting.
We are the Galway Boys Stand up and make some noise"
