Hate to quote football manager but according to them once a player is offered a contract matching his last one compensation must be paid.
Bohs won't have to share anything if the transfer fee is a result of compensation for Deegan being under 23. The transfer fee only gets shared if it's an agreement between clubs.
Meh, fair played to Bohs if they can get €100k for a player out of contract, I certainly would be happy if Harps were to ever get that kind of amount for a player.
