Either way, he's gone and it looks as though we got a pretty good deal out of it (cash plus 15% sell on) considering that he wasnt under contract. Good stuff.

Do Bohs fans actually believe that, and whats the basis for thinking that? Why would Coventry agree to a deal that could cost them hundreds of thousands, for absolutely no reason.

Yeah but Bucko is a big personality in the rent boy circles he moves in (thats a double pun by the way)

It's the 'personality of the year' award. Buckley's dance routine probably made the difference.

He signed a new deal so we could get money, that's the rumour anyway

Development money for under 23s... also comes with mandatory sell on clauses. Crumlin made a killing from every big money Robbie Keane move.

Hate to quote football manager but according to them once a player is offered a contract matching his last one compensation must be paid.

Bohs won't have to share anything if the transfer fee is a result of compensation for Deegan being under 23. The transfer fee only gets shared if it's an agreement between clubs.

Meh, fair played to Bohs if they can get �100k for a player out of contract, I certainly would be happy if Harps were to ever get that kind of amount for a player.
