Ive heard that the FAI are refusing to accept the registration of any players till the 15th of Jan when all the budgets for next season will be approved. Wage deals between clubs and players arent worth anything till the clubs get their budgets approved.

Thats what I was getting at, everyone is effectively under embargo till 09 and 10s budgets are okd.

Browne looks a decent enough centre half but I don't think he looks a Top 3 or 4 Premier Division standard player which is what Fingal are probably aiming for, I would say the same about Ronan Finn and Brendan Clarke too

Ger O'Brien is a very good signing for them

Fletch is a fantastic player, miles above any centre half in the first division! only 23, big, strong, good in the air and unbelievable pace. gutted to lose him! thought he would have gone to scotland over fingal!

I heard from a couple of people that O'Flynn might be coming back to us(Galway) but since Foster went the rumour has died.He was always injured with us though,was always in the best pubs and clubs Galway has to offer aswell.

Read that Bohs are supposed to be going on a training camp out to Spain in January where they will play Spartak Moscow and a team from the Spanish 3rd division.
