Where to? Morrison a possible return to Derry?

Kendrick never really produced at Sligo. He certainly looked to be a very decent Left back beforehand.

Speaking of Sligo left backs, any word on Butlers return? He really impressed me before his unfortunate injury.

Morrison's off to the pub. Kendrick's possibly off to FC Haka, he's going over in the new year to have a look, Sami Ristilla is player/manager there. Kendrick was useless for us, no loss he's gone.

Butler's never played since his car crash but he's been progressing well supposedly. Not too sure if he'll still be with us next season but if he is, he should be back playing at the start of the season hopefully.

Hopefully he plays the way he used too. As we've seen this season, its difficult to sign a decent left back.

Please don't say ye're taking Fozzy?

It's Valletta alright. He'd given his word to sign for Floriana (under conditions of medical and fitness tests) but was then tapped up by Valletta (who wanted him originally) and was offered 3 times the money and a lump to sign. Should make for a good derby!

Ian Foster has been offered the Dundalk manager’s job, a Lilywhite’s source has revealed.

It is now in the hands of the current Galway boss, who may choose to move from the west to the east. According to an insider at Dundalk, they are expecting an answer within the next 24 hours.

The 33-year-old Liverpudlian would replace Sean Connor at Oriel Park, who led the Louth side to 5th place last year. Foster managed to keep the Tribesmen in the Premier Division last season, and is held in high esteem amongst fellow managers.

The next in line to be offered the job, if Foster turns down the offer, is ex-Norwich City player and current chief-scout, John Deehan.

The pre-season rumour mill is now getting into its stride, as Connor is now apparently interested in the job on Leeside, while Paul Doolin, who resigned from his post at Cork earlier this week, is not in the running for the Dundalk job despite rumours emanating on Leeside saying otherwise.

Doolin is now emerging as the leading contender for the vacant position at Inchicore, where Pete Mahon is the latest to have been ruled out of taking the job.

I'd have thought that'd be more reason for him to leave rather than stay...
