2009 season: an appreciation

Just a quick one to congratulate Mick, Pat and the boys for a superb season. Bounced back superbly after a nightmare start and put together an amazing run at the end of the season. A season of many highlights and let's hope we can retain as many of the squad as Mick wants so we can hit the ground running in 2010. Going to be a tough task in a division with Derry City and Shels.

Is Karl Bermingham gone from ye lads? He did very well last season

Not sure yet who has signed for us and who is moving on. And I would be gutted if he leaves as he was fantastic for us last year.

I'm only going by the PFAI list, as some of ye're good players on it

Yeah but just coz they are on the list doesnt mean they are going anywhere! Maybe some are. One player told me at the end of the season party that he had been approached by Bohs and Pats so who knows.

All I know is Mick was meeting players in the last few days to discuss terms for next season and he has the contracts to hand for when the 1st rolls around.

so considering the success of last season magicme do you think that your transfer budget will go up?

plus ye will finish ahead of us again next season.. I know for a fact that our budgets bein cut by a third for next season... Ye are goin the right way about it though..
